how to prepare for ntse?

how to prepare for ntse ? if u r reading this blog surely u r quite worried about ntse and want to crack it for sure. :-)

here r some easy steps to follow if u wanna crack ntse :

1. join a prestigious coaching institute and i prefer resonance(pccp.resonance.ac.in) if possible if not then join it with corresspondence called DLP. this wont cost u much and ur selection will be quite comfortable.

2. buy a ntse book called TMH " how to prepare for ntse" .never buy UPKAR's book. complete it and do it on a regular basis.

3. as 50% of ntse is of MAT prepare mental ability very well you should be able to do a model paper of 90 questions in 65-80 minutes,as you need time to fill the details and signatures and all that stuff.do around 15 - 30 minutes practice everyday.

4. read ur state board's 7,8,9,books as the 1 st stage is prepared by state boards.

5 . if dont know a question go with the most complicated option like:

Q. of which substance is the flammable tip of matchstick made?

a. antimony sulphide

b.phosphorus

c.sulphur

d.none of these

answer is A . :-)

6. and if u have confusion answer in the folowing order

answer C,if not C then D if not D then B if not B then A if not A then E

C>D>B>A>E

try not to answer 'none of these' and go for 'all of these' or 'both A And B', UNTILL u r completely sure

7. DO NOT waste time on a particular question . leave it and come again after ur exam is finished.

8. give as much as competitive exams as much u can it gives u confidence and experience.
